There are no animals on our planet so well-adapted to extreme habitats as the polar bear, whose incredible abilities are awe-inspiring. When polar bears are no longer capable of surviving the Artic, we become forced to recognize that our existence on this planet is threatened. Polar bears are thus symbolic of our struggle to defeat global warming.
