”It is like drowning. Except you can see everyone around you breathing.”


Mental illness is a growing problem that there is still a strong taboo around. In my work I have focused on finding a way to make it easier to communicate and convey ones mental status and thereby dare to break the taboo. I have worked with jewellery as the medium to open up and portray the emotions that we hide inside. Instead, I have placed these feelings visible on the outside of the body to promote transparency.


I create spaciuos yet light objects using metal wire and cut outs in repetitive shapes and forms.
