Stockholm, 13-17 September: For the sixth consecutive year, SEART is showing the highlights from the emerging art scene. The pop-up exhibition is hosted by No Picnic studio, celebrating 25 successful years in the creative business. 19 artists have been selected to show their works in different medias with striking, thought-provoking outcomes. Some of the pieces are specifically produced for the show.
"With this sixth pop-up exhibition at No Picnic we want to showcase the best young artists. We have selected works that trigger us emotionally, and are very proud to welcome the public to experience really interesting, thought-provoking and inspiring art", says designer Margarita Bergfeldt Matiz, one of the founders of SEART.
SEART is an international initiative, the brainchild of friends, each working in different creative fields who love art and see it as an important inspiration tool both in life and at work.
"Our goal is to keep organizing similar art events in Sweden and abroad, SEART's raison d'être is to give young artists the possibility to be seen in new contexts and offer an access to today´s most fresh and interesting art to the audience", explains Margarita.
The participating artists at SEART @ NO PICNIC are John Alberts, Theodor Ander, Johan Berglund, Ludmila Hrachovinová, J o b, Sara Nielsen Bonde, Emma Brålander, Kyung Jin Cho, Sacco Fujishima, Edith Hammar, Susanna Jablonski, Alvina Jakobsson, Gabriella Loeb, Camilo Matiz, Kasper Nordenström Jung, Jesper OT Andersson, Cecilia Ringertz, Martina Skyttberg, Gethin Wyn Jones.
